Retreat

You are welcome to our retreat center nestled in the heart of the Polish Mountains, 5km outside of the village of Porabka, close to Krakow. These 8 acres of paradise are guarded by the spirit of the forest, where the Silver Birch, Beech, Oak, Pine, Hazel, Mountain Ash and Fern sing their gentle song to the river who replies from the valley.

Deer walk freely in the forest and meadows which blossom with native flowers and herbs. Come visit us for a tailor made retreat or one of our scheduled workshops. Or just get away to a peaceful place where the Spirit of Nature comes alive in a Silent Symphony allowing you space and time to reconnect with your true self.

You can enjoy the bird songs, the forest and the river, the breathtaking views, pure air, fresh water and wonderful mountain walks. This space is available for individuals to stay in one of our cottages and for groups wishing to organize their own events. We can also organize parties.

Our facilities

We have 3 fully equipped log cottages,  2 cottages sleep 4 people and 1 cottage sleeps 6.

Each have the following:

• Comfortable bathroom with Shower
• Downstairs open plan sitting/dining area
• Fully equipped Kitchen
• Fire Place
• Beautiful Mountain view
• *6 sleeper cottage has double sofabed downstairs
• Up-staris: 2 adjoining bedrooms
• Bedroom 1: 1 single beds
• Bedroom 2: double bed

Our 70 sq metre Hall provides additional sleeping space, as well as a venue to hold Workshops and Events with the following facilities.

• Fully equipped Kitchenette
• Bathroom with shower
• Fireplace

Other facilities:

• Outdoor open sky fire
• Roofed fire pit with retractable grill
• Outdoor heated bath, to watch the sky as you soak in a hot tub!
